A Second Year at Büro Züri
Aithon has the chance to spend a second year at IPZ in the Büro Züri!
IROS 2023
Aithon won the IROS Best Paper Award on Mobile Manipulation for their publication “A Perching and Tilting Aerial Robot for Precise and Versatile Power Tool Work on Vertical Walls”.
Arche 2023
To test our improvements on the drone in a realistic setting, we spent a hole week at ARCHE 23. We were able to screw a wooden plate into a hole that we drilled into concrete building.

Pitch-Night at ZKB
We won a highly-contested spot at Büro Züri Innovationspark!
Alongside several other innovative start-ups, we will be working at Büro Züri Innovationspark in 2023. After being pre-selected, the final 10 teams had several minutes to convince the jury of the potential of their product and the innovative spirit of the team. We are looking forward to this opportunity - located at Innovation Park Zürich, this co-working space allows to combine testing with development. Further, we can profit from the extensive community of innovators and entrepreneurs!
ETH Industry Day
We have presented our drone to a large audience at ETH Industry Day 2022!
At ETH Hönggerberg we spent the day connecting with other developers, industry leaders and interested individuals. Thank you for attending and for the insightful discussions.
ARCHE 22
To test the drone in more realistic setting, we spent three days at ARCHE22. We experienced flights with slight wind and were able to prove that the system is robust enough for manipulation on large structures.
Innovatica 2022
A wonderful summer day at Innovatica 2022!
After months of testing at Innovation Park Switzerland in Dübendorf, we were able to open the garage doors and show many excited faces the drone in action. At the same time, we were able to show reliability and user-friendliness by letting anyone have a go at aerial robotics!

Founding
